A Treat Tour Around the World: Meet Our Global Flavours Dog Treat Collection
Share
What if your dog could travel the world, one treat at a time? Our Global Flavours collection takes six famous dishes, from Canadian poutine to Japanese sushi, and turns them into grain-free, natural dog treats made from real freeze-dried and air-dried ingredients. There are no fillers or artificial flavours, just whole foods your dog will love.
This guide walks through each treat in the collection, what's inside it, and how to choose the right one for your pup.
Why We Created Global Flavours
Dog parents love to share good food with their pets, but most human dishes aren't safe for dogs. Butter, onions, garlic, heavy spices and sauces can all upset a dog's stomach or worse. We wanted to capture the fun of those classic meals using only ingredients that are good for dogs.
Each Global Flavours box pairs a high-quality protein with whole-food extras like sweet potato, pumpkin or broccoli. The result is a treat that's playful, gives your dog some variety, and still matches the simple, ingredient-first approach we take with all our single-ingredient treats.
Meet the Collection
🇨🇦 Canadian Poutine
We had to start at home. Our Canadian Poutine dog treats combine air-dried sweet potato fries with freeze-dried cheese curds. They're naturally high in fibre and protein, and they're a fun way to celebrate Canada Day, a hockey night or any ordinary Tuesday.
🇯🇵 Japanese Bento Box
Seafood lovers, this one's for you. The Japanese Bento Box is packed with air-dried sardines, cod skins and freeze-dried salmon. It's a savoury, ocean-fresh mix that works well as a training reward or a meal topper. It's also a cat favourite, so multi-pet homes can share one box.
🇬🇧 British Fish and Chips
Our take on the classic pub meal skips the batter and the deep fryer. The British Fish and Chips treats pair air-dried cod skins with sweet potato fries for a crunchy, satisfying chew. Cats love this one too.
🇮🇳 Indian Butter Chicken
The Indian Butter Chicken treats are inspired by one of the world's best-loved comfort foods. They combine freeze-dried chicken with air-dried pumpkin and sweet potato fries. Pumpkin and sweet potato are known for being gentle on the stomach, so this is a great pick for dogs who do best with simple ingredients.
🇮🇹 Italian Chicken Parmigiana
Buon appetito! Our Italian Chicken Parmigiana treats pair freeze-dried chicken with cheese curds. They're rich in protein and very savoury, which makes them a high-value reward when you need your dog's full attention.
🇨🇳 Chinese Beef and Broccoli
The Chinese Beef and Broccoli treats bring together freeze-dried beef and freeze-dried broccoli. It's a protein-packed snack with a little bonus green, and a great choice for dogs who prefer red meat.
Freeze-Dried vs. Air-Dried: What's the Difference?
Every treat in the collection uses one or both of these gentle drying methods:
- Freeze-drying removes moisture at very low temperatures. Treats stay light and crisp and keep much of their original flavour and nutrition.
- Air-drying slowly removes moisture with gentle, low heat. This creates a chewier, denser texture, like our sweet potato fries and cod skins.
Both methods mean shelf-stable treats with no artificial preservatives. To learn more, read our guide to the perks of freeze-dried and air-dried dog treats.
Which Global Flavour Is Right for Your Dog?
- For training: Italian Chicken Parmigiana or Chinese Beef and Broccoli. They're high-value, aromatic and easy to break into small pieces.
- For sensitive tummies: Indian Butter Chicken, with pumpkin and sweet potato.
- For skin and coat lovers: Japanese Bento Box or British Fish and Chips, both rich in fish.
- For homes with cats: Japanese Bento Box or British Fish and Chips, both feline favourites.
- For a proudly Canadian pup: Canadian Poutine, of course!
Can't decide? Try a few and let your dog vote. Variety keeps treat time exciting and introduces your dog to different proteins.
Creative Ways to Use Global Flavours Treats
- Meal topper: Crumble a few pieces over raw or kibble meals to tempt picky eaters.
- Enrichment: Stuff them into a puzzle toy or snuffle mat for a "world tour" scavenger hunt.
- Training sessions: Break them into small bites for high-value rewards.
- Gifting: The themed boxes make fun stocking stuffers, birthday gifts and "gotcha day" treats for the dog lovers in your life.
A Quick Note on Feeding
Treats should make up no more than about 10% of your dog's daily calories. Introduce any new treat gradually, especially if your dog has food sensitivities. Some Global Flavours treats contain cheese, so watch dairy portions for dogs who are lactose-sensitive. If your dog has allergies, you may also find our post on how raw diets can help with pet allergies useful.
